I've thought of them often, especially since Jake's death. Somehow the neighboorhood feels different...a very sweet life!https://www.blogger.com/profile/10604562508385779175noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1209216196054102387.post-6161687988035762332011-01-25T13:45:02.649-06:002011-01-25T13:45:02.649-06:00i loved that leah...when they had a big street par...i loved that leah...when they had a big street party!!! that was such a blast. .....Roohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09014829847475377261noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1209216196054102387.post-21166369682195320532011-01-25T07:04:39.462-06:002011-01-25T07:04:39.462-06:00That's a great idea :). Everyone brought their own food (meat) and either a salad or dessert to share. I've often thought about your "no fence" arrangement. A great way for kids to play together WITHOUT having to go to the street (especially since neither of us have sidewalks!!).<br />Great idea :).a very sweet life!https://www.blogger.com/profile/10604562508385779175noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1209216196054102387.post-69975822061941846082011-01-24T22:43:53.862-06:002011-01-24T22:43:53.862-06:00Oh, oh, I know! We are fortunate (and I do think it is really quite lovely) to have next to no fences for many backyards in either direction. We are constantly moving from one yard to the other to gather the children! But then we get to know the parents, too! So, yes, a BBQ is a great thing!Chantelle - ThousandSquareFeethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06305927922846880598noreply@blogger.com
