A gal can only dream :)....

So one of the ideas I've had for a while is to make COOKIES to sell for the Ride for Refuge.
And not just ANY cookies --- cookies that are a work of he[ART].
I have spent (too much!) time browsing a blog I stumbled across just before summer mayhem hit!

This woman is a cookie-creating-GENIUS!!, and I stand in amazement (especially after my own feeble attempts!!). If you want to drool and learn a thing or two about flow icing and the art of a sugar cookie please pay a visit --- http://www.sweetsugarbelle.com

Here are a few ways I've played with dough and icing ;)....

Sweet Cupcake cookies for L's 2nd birthday party - cupcakes without the mess :)

I also made daisy cookies for a Neighborhood Cookie Party I hosted this summer.
Somehow I forgot to whip out the camera on that one :)....
Just a LITTLE TOO MUCH FUN :).

And with practice, hopefully the lines will be a little straighter, the process will be smoother and perhaps a little quicker too :).
And life, and a cup of coffee, are both a little sweeter with a cookie don't you think :)?

Lovely! Did not know you had this hidden talent as well ;)
I remember when I used to 'cake decorate' That was all fine and good until the cake for 50 plus people did me in. It will never be the same. But you, my dear have a talent! Keep up the good work!
I notice the wine... mmmm... I must join you for one of these cookie decorating events. I can just drink wine while you decorate. I'm totally fine with that. lol!
Love you!

I was gonna mention the wine, too. I notice you have the whole bottle on hand - was it getting that bad? Maybe your lines would be a little straighter if you were drinking that coffee instead of the wine! I jest! They are beautiful!

HA! I actually hadn't noticed the bottle there!!! (My inability to process details, perhaps :P???) Thankfully, there was only about a glass and a half of wine left at the bottom of a SHARED ;) bottle --- but I'm not sure what would affect details more --- too much wine would be too blurry and too much coffee gives me the jitters!!! Either is probably not a good idea ;).
